BACKGROUND
Forum Restaurant 1977, the a three-stars michelin Cantonese cuisine which earned a wide range of international reputation, welcomes the Year of Golden ox, giving support to the local brands in cooperation with Eric Kot, a Hong Kong director & actor with his meticulously designed wooden box.
We are responsible for the design of the elegance of the paper packaging. It is designed in mind to reflect the history of the four Hong Kong brands and their individual well known provision of food and beverage over the years — Wing Lee Wai, Forum Restaurant, Dashijie, and Asagaodou. The blueprint of their gift packaging displays the eternal prosperity of Hong Kong, printed with the subtle UV effect.
The four local brands pursue aesthetic unity. The individual packaging of each product perfectly inherits the fine design details of the limited edition wooden box, such as its material, texture and colour. Although the four brands are producing different products they can also be intertwined into one. The unity of each brand together symbolises the spirit of the Lion Rock which reflects the core values of the people of Hong Kong. May prosperity thrive again in the Year of Ox.
